Lauren Hefner, CAEĀ brings to the table over a decade of experience in association management, and grew up in a family of association executives before her. Lauren has worked in all aspects of the industry, with a primary focus on membership and communications. She serves as the Director, Member Care for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.
Most recently, she worked as the director of communications and marketing for the National Grocers Association covering their membership and government affairs. Prior to that, Lauren has held roles of increasing seniority serving as the director of membership, marketing and communications for the Laboratory Products Association and the membership & credentialing manager at the National Cancer Registrars Association.
Lauren is the immediate past chair of ASAE’s Young Professionals Committee and currently serves on the ASAE Greater Washington Network. She also volunteers with the ASAE Foundation and the CAE Ambassadors. She recently was selected as an inaugural recipient of the USAE / Association Forum of Chicagoland Forty Under Forty award and received the Rising Star of the Year Award in ASAE’s 2011 In Honor of Women awards program.
